Expanding Educational and Job Training Opportunities for Good-Paying Jobs
 
Good-paying jobs start early. That’s why the Democratic majority in the Virginia House of Delegates focused on job training programs in Virginia high schools, created new programs and ensured affordable tuition. 
 

  • The Democratic majority in the Virginia House of Delegates have secured tens of millions to fund job training programs in Virginia high schools and junior colleges. To read the bill increasing job training funding in the state budget, click here.

  • The newly created G3 Program – Get Skilled, Get A Job, Give Back Program – provides several tuition-free degree and certificate programs through the Virginia Community College System. The program focuses on high-demand fields such as computer science, manufacturing and early childhood education.
